Can we consume the service as an API?

Yes, some customers prefer to integrate our service tightly with their systems rather than have users work with the UI directly. We offer a REST API that handles face detection for you and returns age reports on all clearly visible faces within submitted images.

Can the service be ran on-premise?

Absolutely. We have customers that prefer to run our service on air-gapped infrastructure due to special security requirements. Our service runs independently and does not need internet access.

What about scalability?

We use cloud hosting and can scale up quite a bit. However, if you anticipate a really high volume of calls, we should talk about a deployment on your infrastructure.

What about data privacy?

Rest assured, we prioritise your data privacy. Our model is designed with a strict commitment to non-storage and non-utilisation of any data processed. Additionally, we provide the option to operate the model on air-gapped infrastructure, ensuring complete isolation from the internet. Your data and the generated output belong solely to you.

What about compliance with the AI Act?

Minor Age Estimation complies with the regulatory requirements of the Artificial Intelligence Act (EU2021/0106), the Law Enforcement Directive (EU2016/680) and GDPR. Minor Age Estimation is deemed to qualify as an assessment tool as defined under Article 6(2a) of the AI Act. This software is developed to assist the end-user in establishing the age of a person in an image.
